Both my parents told me a very long time ago much of what is stated here has basis in fact. The question is not what is in the law. The question is how did FDR promote the vast new program. A program like no other in our country's history. My Mom told me she liked him at the time. But over time the changes were not what she had hoped for or had expected. My mom told me this over 30 plus years ago during a discussions on politics, very common in our home while growing up. Sound familiar.

The below statement is said to be fake and not factual in terms of law, not sure about the sell part. People were in crisis and I think that fed the desire for a turn toward socialism.
Our Social Security Franklin Delano. Roosevelt (Terms of Office March 4, 1933, to April 12, 1945)a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised the American people when he first explained the idea and to sell it to the people:

1.)That participation in the program would be voluntary. Not what was passed into law.
2.)That the participants would only have to pay 1% of their annual incomes into the program,
3.)That the money the participants elected to put into the program maybe deductible from their income for tax purposes each year. Not what was passed into law.
4.)That the money the participants put into the Independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program. Not what was passed into law.
5.)That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to 'Put Away' -- you may be interested in the following: Not what was passed into law.

What he promised is not what congress passed. The Fed has a so called fact sheet website page debunking what legislation that was sold to the people, just mentions what was passed and now law. The point is not what was passed by congress, the point is what was sold to the people by the leader of the country. One sentence says no one would get social security unless they paid into it, we know this not to be true. ADC is one program funded as well as welfare out of the SSI fund. Call it what you will a Rose is a Rose by any other name.

The Great Society needed funding and all that money was just sitting there. Government websites will tell you it is not part of the general fund. True, they just borrow the money and in exchange give government securities in exchange. They are taking money out of the right pocket and putting into the left pocket. We are borrowing from ourselves, someone has to pay it, who?

James Earl Carter, Jr (Jimmy Carter) 39th. President, Democrat Term of Office: January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981 Question: Which Political Party decided to start giving money generated from Annuity payments to illegal immigrants?

Answer: That's right! James Earl Carter, Jr. (Jimmy Carter) (Democrat, Term of Office: January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981) and the Democratic Party. Began helping illegal Immigrants who moved into this country, they can began to receive government payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never were to benefit from this fund. But they call it something else, but the money comes from the SSI funds. The money just does not come out of thin air. The government website says this is not true, but if you read between the lines it is not SS per say it is other programs funded by money placed in the FICA fund.

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! Truth be told even Republicans have spent like Democrats in the first part of this century, around 2000. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme it will crash at some point. Just do the math, immigration, age of population, support group smaller than expected. The house of cards collapses. Either the service are drastically cut or people forced to pay higher taxes to support it. Based on our current congress and President plan on taxes. Both parties are guilty of plundering our retirement.

They have run out of our money, 40 years of spending by both parties. This has not happened over night. Obama and congress want to accelerate it in 5 year going out past 10. Who is going to pay the bill? It was bad enough when George Bush was spending us deeper in debt. Like Rx drugs, not much different than Obama. The problem is we do not have the money. We will go deep into negative equity, then the waiter brings the bill at some point. It has to be paid for some how, please explain how?

The founding fathers are rolling in their graves. This is not what they in visioned how the country's government was to work. We need to get back to the basic frame work of the Constitution. We have wander to far out of what was a perfect balance of power with all the checks and balances. It has become corrupt and needs to be adjusted back to the basics. Less government, states rights, country's defense The unproductive government needs to be reduced and private sector needs to absorb the needs of some people who really need help. We did it some how before the New Deal. It comes down to the Physiological Difference do you want people doing for themselves. Or do you want to pay the government to do that for you?

Life Changes - Fluffytek

Every now and then you get to meet some very nice people on the Internet. That happen Summer last year when I became friends with Lin and Rich of Fluffytek. At the time I was having problems with a site administrator who was looking for a fall guy. The person messed up and provided personal information attacking the wrong person. Lin and Rich both have dealt with the problem person before. At a time I needed some moral support they were there for help. I will always appreciate them for that genuine help. Lin and Rich are what I call good people, you feel they are being honest in the friendship.

When I had time to look through blogs and I always go to Fluffytek first, you see a link on your right to the blog. I was sadden in one way but happy in another when I read Lin's update on life in their world. I know the photography blog was becoming time consuming and tough enough when healthy. But sick and fighting health issues and putting it together takes time and effort. Rich is wise in helping to correct direction back on course to fun. I will miss seeing his photography of Lin and the other models. The poses, light and creative works of photography art have been a inspiration. I have no doubt he will do as well in the new medium.

One less burden for Lin, a well needed rest and I am sure will return from time to time to keep in touch with the blog who are also friends. Lin is not only a beautiful woman on the out side, she is rare that it is also inside of her as well. As mention Lin is good people and has a loving devoted hubby and wonderful kids. I hope that remains the focus. It is how things in life happen, and how we absorb and deal with them that makes life. I hope it turns out the best for both of them.

Cincinnati T.E.A. Party - April 15th 2009

On April 15th 2009 there were hundreds of grass roots tax protest rallies across the country. They were called Tea Party gatherings. I know how the one here in Cincinnati Started and how it became a Facebook and other Internet connection groups spreading he word. The local radio programs picked up on some of it and word began to spread, that was Feb-March 2009. The rally in March drew 5000 people on a Sunday afternoon rally. By that time other cities were having gatherings and the April 15th tax day was planned as a solidarity movement. The media would have you believe it is a Astro turf movement backed by big money and oil. Nancy Peloshi is trying to spin it that ways as well.


I know it was not that way here, I saw it develop and kept in touch via Facebook. Mike Wilson and his wife were instrumental in the starting of this group based on anger with the amount of money and the size of government. The current President and congress want to bury us in creating a government dependent people. I do not want that, I want to move back to a Constitutional Government.



This and work and health issues have all been taking my time up of late. Doing family stuff like the play and work stuff like trying to gets some money in the door with this poor economy. Adds some stress to a already busy life. But spring is here and the dogwood is beginning to bloom. Does not help the neck and shoulder pain that has kept me from having a decent night sleep in months. See one Doctor about it on May 1st, he is going to tell me it is not the fault of the accident 3+ years ago. Friggin Insurance companies. I hate that little lizard. But the 15th was also family time. Max went down to the protest with me. Part cause he was bored on spring break, part out of curiosity. Even he knows it is not wise to spend money you do not have to spend.



Picture was taken during the National anthem. Looked over and saw Max. Had to take the shot. It was a cloudy chilly day and it had rained the night before. It was cold when the wind kicked up on Fountain Square.



I get the sense of a under current of a march on Washington. Not sure when, July 4th might be a good day. It seems to be coming from the anger in response to how the main stream media is call people of the movement. The bias reporting like CNN Susan Roesgen and her lame attempt to make members look radical or fringe. They do not know or want to report on what the basic ideas are, less government, less spending, return to a constitutional form of government. It goes for both parties. They have both been guilty of this for 40+ years. Obama Nancy and Harry have just taken it to insane levels. The tax payers are made as hell and they are not going to take it any more.


We will see what happens near tern and more important, 2010.

The Piano Player - Megan Moore

Chris Moore has a devoted wife and Assistant Director of the show Grease. It was the Clermont Northeastern High School 2009 production show held at Krueger Auditorium at U.C. Clermont. April 3 and 4th. It was a great show and all the hard work showed in the quality of the performances. The whole cast did a super job.

GM: Government Motors - What Next

It has started, the government is telling private industry directly what they want done. The man of hope and change is offering a huge change. He seems to want large government and control of all major industries, health, environment and financial part of the American economy and how we live our lives. They feel government knows best and can help you make the right choices. You become dependent on the government since they begin to control your choices.

Some might feel that is fine and the kind of change we need. Greedy free market money hog corporations and just keeping the common man down. It is what most progressive IE: liberals have wanted for some time, make you feel entitled and lacking in personal responsibility. I had hoped for more of what Obama said while campaigning in a moderate tone. He has turned out to be a man of deeds not words. His deeds prior to this and the Chicago politics culture he comes from, the people have been duped.

It is time to stop the spending, it is money we do not have and we do not need a huge government. Put money in people's pockets and they will spend it, thus making jobs. People of the world put us in this economic crisis with one common thread, greed. 95% of the world is responsible, and we can also change it. We need less government in our lives. That is what America was supposed to be all about. Our balance of government is out of balance and the people need to tell the leaders, politicians, enough is enough. We do not want to live in a socialist country.

Birds of a Feather

It seems things are changing times are tough every where. One thing most agree on is we can not keep this spending at the current levels, we do not have any money. But I know one place that seems to always be hiring. I posted this YouTube clip since Daniel sums it all up perfectly. All joking aside it is getting to be silly what these people are doing. The USA is following right in behind, increasing it's debt in 5-6 years as much as it has in 233 years, 43 Presidents. We do not have the money, it can only come from working people and we are taxed enough. It is time to cut programs, do the right thing. Lower taxes and that will infuse equity into this economy. But they like power and doing that does not allow they to tell you how, when and where to spend it.

Trillion Here Trillion There

Then soon we will be talking about real money like this years budget. They spend us into the abyss. I see nothing good in all this government spending and how it soon becomes addictive. Problem is the money comes from the people. Now the government will collect your money and give it back to you in services. It has been heading that way since Roosevelt and the 30s. But now Nancy, Harry and Obama want to put the petal to the metal and spends as much money as they can to get more government in our way of life.

Problem is then the government wants to tell you how you have to live your lives. They do that with how they provide you those services and whether or not you are really in need of those services. Government knows best and will take care of you.

Just look at the new budget and how Nancy is trying to ram this budget down the throats of the House with one vote. She is out of control and power hungry like her minion Harry Reid. Trillions, doubling our national debt. That is insane and not a fair minded person can leave that to our children. Obama does seem punch drunk, he is smart but way over his head. Or more of a concern he really knows what he is doing, if so. We are all in deep shit.

American Apology

I hope our true friends in the U.K. do not think we are the uncouth and disrespectful people like our current President. I am not a huge fan of Gordon Brown but he is the leader of the U.K. and our countries have been close friends and allies for many years. It was total disrespect to return the bust of one of the greatest men of all time Winston Churchill. I was beside myself when I read the story in U.K. papers followed up on page 15 in our USA news media coverage. I am appalled and stunned this is not being covered more indepth than it is here in our country. This was as if a slap in the face of a friend, you just do not do stuff like this, not to civil people.

If you do not want something in the White House then have it placed in a prominent museum, you just do not ship a gift with such importance back to someone. What on earth are they doing up there? You put that with how the PM was treated and the shabby gifts we gave to Gordon and family on their first visit is just plain rude. No British flag, no major news conference, WTF? This is all just not what my country has been all about for well over 200+ years. You do not treat other people that way. It is a respect issue and it seems Obama is clueless or incompetent. At least in this case it is very clear he has issues when it comes to foreign affairs.

I wish it could be brought back to our country USPS and placed as mentioned and a apology sent with a meaningful exchange of worth to show what friendship is all about. What a total embarrassment to me and my country toward our good friends in the UK, please accept my apology, if Obama does not come forth and straighten this out. Not a good way to start off a new presidency.

Cincinnati Tea Party March 15th 2009

A gathering of people not happy with how our President wants to change how our system of government works. The event was a grass root effort to show displeasure with the amount of government spending.This was tax and spend protest by working tax payers. They want to tax us to death and our grand children, it is insane. Cincinnati Tea Party
There will be another event on April 15th, 2009 on Fountain Square. There at least 4000 people at this event. I think there is going to be many more at the next event. We will know more about the budget and how much and where they want to spend us into the abyss. There were at lot more today than I think most people expected. This only started a few weeks ago. Think as the word gets out how many more will go on April 15th.

Life's Priorities - My Family

It seems time moves more quickly when I started taking photographs again in 2001. I was given a HP318 by my Father in law for Christmas of 2000. He thought it was a bit pricey and wondered why I wanted a digital camera. My Canon Rebel had broken back in 1997 while on a trip to Disney World and for 3 years I just did not feel like taking pictures. Lots of things were happening back then in my life. New job, new house, my kids were taking more of our time. But digital got me back in the mood for photography. My passion returned for captured moments. I am not so sure my family was on board with my renewed passion. But I am glad I started it up again. Moments like these in Lakeside would be a memory, just not as vivid as a photo will rekindle the brain's memories. This was a last day on one of many trips to Lakeside where my wife grew up.

I find with ever passing day times seems to move faster. Ty is getting ready to head off to College and Max is not far behind. I wonder what it will be like in our home once the boys have moved on and started the adult phase of their lives. My sons are different in mood and how they seem to look at life. Much like my brother and myself. Looking back through my archives of pictures it brings back strong memories of my parents and what life was like when I was growing up. Life is Deer Park was typical Americana with kids on every street and people sitting out on porches late on summer nights to stay cool. Few people had air conditioning when I was a kid. Neighbors knew one another and often would talk to each other as they relaxed on front porches.

Time marches on and in some ways it brings new good things. In some ways it brings some not so good things. Times are a changing, it just seems it is picking up pace the older I get. I think things are changing faster than when I was younger. I wonder what life will be like for my kids when they get to be my age. I hope they are happy, one wish I have for them is to enjoy having some kids like them, they have been a pure joy and a reason for pride and enjoyment in my life. If you think about it in the end they really are the only thing I will leave behind that will last. Just like my parents, my heroes.
