I never understood why. He was being paid by people who wanted to repeal SB5 which ends some collective bargaining rights public employees now enjoy. Some one or group felt they needed to hire people to collect signatures to get the repeal on the November ballot. It is now Issue 2 on the State of Ohio November ballot. A YES vote on Issue two will keep the new laws in place. A no vote will repeal the laws. The law returns the state of Ohio some where back to 1983 prior to when Democrats changed the laws for the Unions.

To quote a great leader in some ways, FDR.

"... Meticulous attention should be paid to the special relationships and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the government. All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations ... The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for ... officials ... to bind the employer ... The employer is the whole people, who speak by means of laws enacted by their representatives ...

"Particularly, I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place in the functions of any organization of government employees. Upon employees in the federal service rests the obligation to serve the whole people ... This obligation is paramount ... A strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent ... to prevent or obstruct ... Government ... Such action, looking toward the paralysis of Government ... is unthinkable and intolerable."TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-77378837943851243642010-04-16T21:47:00.011-04:002010-04-24T08:49:21.253-04:00What is a Entitlement

I was in my neighborhood restaurant this morning and was seated behind a group of jubilant individuals celebrating the successful passing of the recent health care bill. I could not finish my breakfast. This is what ensued: They were a diverse group of several races and both sexes. I heard the young man exclaim, Isn't Obama like Jesus Christ? I mean, after all, he is healing the sick. The young woman enthusiastically proclaimed, Yeah, and he does it for free. I cannot believe anyone would think that a free market would work for health care. They are all crooks and thieves and don't deserve all of that money. Another said, ˜The stupid Republicans want us all to starve to death so they can inherit all of the power. Obama should be made a Saint for what he did for those of us less fortunate.

At this, I had had enough.

I arose from my seat, mustering all the restraint I could find, and approached their table. Please excuse me; may I impose upon you for one moment? They smiled and welcomed me to the conversation. I stood at the end of their table, smiled as best I could and began an experiment.

I would like to give one of you my house. It will cost you no money and I will pay all of the expenses and taxes for as long as you live there. Anyone interested? They looked at each other in astonishment. Why would you do something like that? asked a young man, There isn't anything for free in this world. They began to laugh at me, as they did not realize this man had just made my point. I am serious, I will give you my house for free, no money what so ever. Anyone interested? In unison, a resounding Hell Yeah fills the room.

Since there are too many of you, I will have to make a choice as to who receives this money free bargain. I noticed an elderly couple was paying attention to the spectacle unfolding before their eyes, the old man shaking his head in apparent disgust. I tell you what; I will give it to the one of you most willing to obey my rules. Again, they looked at one another, an expression of bewilderment on their faces. The perky young woman asked, What are the rules? I smiled and said, I don't know. I have not yet defined them. However, it is a free home that I offer you. They giggled amongst themselves, the youngest of which said, What an old coot. He must be crazy to give away his home. Go take your meds, old man. I smiled and leaned into the table a bit further. I am serious, this is a legitimate offer. They gaped at me for a moment.

Hell, I'll take it you old fool. Where are the keys? boasted the youngest among them. Then I presume you accept ALL of my terms then? I asked. The elderly couple seemed amused and entertained as they watched from the privacy of their table. Oh hell yeah! Where do I sign up? I took a napkin and wrote, I give this man my home, without the burden of financial obligation, so long as he accepts and abides by the terms that I shall set forth upon consummation of this transaction. I signed it and handed it to the young man who eagerly scratched out his signature. Where are the keys to my new house? he asked in a mocking tone of voice. All eyes were upon us as I stepped back from the table, pulling the keys from pocket and dangling them before the excited new homeowner.

Now that we have entered into this binding contract, witnessed by all of your friends, I have decided upon the conditions you are obligated to adhere from this point forward. You may only live in the house for one hour a day. You will not use anything inside of the home. You will obey me without question or resistance. I expect complete loyalty and admiration for this gift I bestow upon you. You will accept my commands and wishes with enthusiasm, no matter the nature. Your morals and principles shall be as mine. You will vote as I do, think as I do and do it with blind faith. These are my terms. Here are your keys. I reached the keys forward and
the young man looked at me dumb founded.

Are you out of your freaking mind? Who would ever agree to those ridiculous terms? the young man appeared irritated. You did when you signed this contract before reading it, understanding it and with the full knowledge that I would provide my conditions only after you committed to the agreement. Was all I said. The elderly man chuckled as his wife tried to restrain him. I was looking at a now silenced and bewildered group of people.

You can shove that stupid deal up your a** old man, I want no part of it exclaimed the now infuriated young man. You have committed to the contract, as witnessed by all of your friends; you cannot get out of the deal unless I agree to it. I do not intend to let you free now that I have you ensnared. I am the power you agreed to. I am the one you blindly and without thought chose to enslave yourself to. In short, I am your Master. At this, the table of celebrating individuals became a unified group against the unfairness of the deal.

After a few moments of unrepeatable comments and slurs, I revealed my true intent. What I did to you is what this administration and congress did to you with the health care legislation. I easily suckered you in and then revealed the real cost of the bargain. Your folly was in the belief that you can have something you did not earn; that you are entitled to that which you did not earn; that you willingly allowed someone else to think for you. Your failure to research, study and inform yourself permitted reason to escape you. You have entered into a trap from which you cannot flee. Your only chance of freedom is if your new Master gives it unto you.

A freedom that is given can also be taken away; therefore, it is not freedom. With that, I tore up the napkin and placed it before the astonished young man. This is the nature of your new health care legislation.

I turned away to leave these few in thought and contemplation and was surprised by applause. The elderly gentleman, who was clearly entertained, shook my hand enthusiastically and said, Thank you Sir, these kids don't understand Liberty these days. He refused to allow me to pay my bill as he said, You earned this one, it is an honor to pickup the tab. I shook his hand in thanks, leaving the restaurant somewhat humbled, and sensing a glimmer of hope for my beloved country.

Use reason, it is the closest you are going to get to Godly conduct
Clifford A. On my way home I was listening to a program on talk radio, Ohio river hour. I turned left down Tealtown off Old 74 and came to a stop about 100 yards. It seemed a car ahead was trying to turn left and we were waiting, then WHAM!! this car hits my car doing 35-40 mph. I flew back as the seat broke and then forward as I hit the car in front of me. My leg was jammed badly into the console and dash.
I blacked out briefly and then was in a lot of pain from leg and neck. Leg hurt the more so do to the scrape. Went to the hospital in a ambulance where I got x-rays and my leg was bandaged up. X-rays came back and I was released after I bit of time with the Union Township police officer. He asked me what I thought happened, I told him the above and he said yup she did not even brake.

I was off a couple days at work but felt I was needed so I went in for a half day to catch up and see how It felt. I was sore and tired after 5 hours. So went to the Doctors and then home for a rest. It has been one week from the wreck and it still hurts. I hope I feel better soon. It is always nice to get a new car, this one again was not planned. Just life's moments. I chose a Mazda 6 from Kings Mazda. Carl works there and I know I will get good service with him. I do not like how March roared in. I am getting to old for this *hit.

TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-91299228323473413872010-02-15T08:42:00.001-05:002010-02-15T20:43:48.803-05:00Explanation of Derivative Markets<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX5FEV66KqIpCHjnsSZtLu18iifACsSZR5ZXJ8fGs-SXn3Ow1YuimRfYixJajAQo6QM4YULI6-uos8IareRIgkSxBFKbZHk7XU3VJ3n4TPg6vgNgemA6CGQZkoB51m10laJI72L2h9s6i6/s400/92323205.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438651029551650930" />
Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Detroit . She realizes that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics and, as such, can no longer afford to patronize her bar. To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that allows her customers to drink now, but pay later.

Heidi keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers' loans). Word gets around about Heidi's "drink now, pay later" marketing strategy and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi's bar. Soon she has the largest sales volume for any bar in Detroit .

By providing her customers freedom from immediate payment demands, Heidi gets no resistance when, at regular intervals, she substantially increases her prices for wine and beer, the most consumed beverages. Consequently, Heidi's gross sales volume increases massively.

A young and dynamic vice-president at the local bank recognizes that these customer debts constitute valuable future assets and increases Heidi's borrowing limit. He sees no reason for any undue concern, since he has the debts of the unemployed alcoholics as collateral.

At the bank's corporate headquarters, expert traders figure a way to make huge commissions, and transform these customer loans into DRINKBONDS, ALKIBONDS and PUKEBONDS. These securities are then bundled and traded on international security markets.

Naive investors don't really understand that the securities being sold to them as AAA secured bonds are really the debts of unemployed alcoholics. Nevertheless, the bond prices continuously climb, and the securities soon become the hottest-selling items for some of the nation's leading brokerage houses.

One day, even though the bond prices are still climbing, a risk manager at the original local bank decides that the time has come to demand payment on the debts incurred by the drinkers at Heidi's bar. He so informs Heidi.

Heidi then demands payment from her alcoholic patrons, but being unemployed alcoholics they cannot pay back their drinking debts. Since Heidi cannot fulfill her loan obligations she is forced into bankruptcy. The bar closes and the eleven employees lose their jobs.

Overnight, DRINKBONDS, ALKIBONDS and PUKEBONDS drop in price by 90%. The collapsed bond asset value destroys the banks liquidity and prevents it from issuing new loans, thus freezing credit and economic activity in the community. The suppliers of Heidi's bar had granted her generous payment extensions and had invested their firms' pension funds in the various BOND securities. They find they are now faced with having to write off her bad debt and with losing over 90% of the presumed value of the bonds. Her wine supplier also claims bankruptcy, closing the doors on a family business that had endured for three generations, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor, who immediately closes the local plant and lays off 150 workers.

Fortunately though, the bank, the brokerage houses and their respective executives are saved and bailed out by a multi-billion dollar no-strings attached cash infusion from their cronies in Government. The funds required for this bailout are obtained by new taxes levied on employed, middle-class, non-drinkers who have never been in Heidi's bar.

Now do you understand?TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-36365721019754591482010-01-31T19:39:00.004-05:002010-01-31T19:57:21.738-05:00Defining Moment<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 309px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8t1n2or7nusF7wjX-UK-x0atqYPLMtmt6GAgPypLL94Hk-psO4Zqh_3Gj1iMIKde7hmoWIU6n3X75N6QCxFz4tiZwzEiW3QgkS9MhX8-lxvWsANFxeJ9W8KN435xNC1CxQm2KN5ffzR0U/s400/medium.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433068434275602770" />Seems like these type of moments happen when you had hoped for something other than what you ended up with. Could just be life is giving back what you have given it. In that case this moment proved to be you reap what you sowed. If you have to ask and when it is not genuine then it really is not worth the time. I can only hope for things to happen it is not worth asking, it cheapens the moments. Un-returned email lack of interest distance all seem now a factor. In measured distance really not that far, emotional distance seems very far away. No matter how close you try to be.

We all chose paths in life and we must be true to ourselves. All one can do with what life brings is make the best of what they can do. Sometimes it is more than some expect, other times it leaves that empty feeling that life often brings from time to time. Teach what you can, love them be all you can and do what you think is the right thing to do. If the seeds fall right you get a good harvest. If you do not do well the harvest will be less or none at all. It was nice ride there and a long road back, a long time to think about defining moments.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-69198452945552662752010-01-29T21:16:00.003-05:002010-01-29T21:30:17.364-05:00Winter of 2010<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 239px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcf5zFZ2-Um74jGtof8Fr36nQ39Gu5fEn8-ORzPXW4-NemBiV-pOGXWCPrLCX9AiArT-zdjXnkKcWt68uV_HWudHOMl_aVAgs9XDPijIpbDlQtw8zdEV9sQBzdIsIsK4H_QYo_acFf5ze-/s400/DWC_8134C_bw.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432351780950066130" />
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWT3fRgT5M0JTvu2tdEqSQKz4ul3bg6jxFT1P3elm_SMNcR0X-nBPlyZMFVPMXbKXwf7G6FBLOySaHm6TnnWNTXneFQLFLeh4308IlDqQi2kG2V20mZD-8_ckArR-f_pEEzP_9Ni7b-hCq/s400/DWC_8099.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432351516739398770" />The winter of 2009-2010 has proven to be cold and snowy. But we are only at the end of January. The Ohio Valley can be brutal in February. Life goes on work and play and live life moments. Ty is home this weekend from O.U. Harvard on the Ohio. Spent New Years Eve with bert driving around the farm country of butler, Hamilton and Franking counties in Ohio and Indiana. Was a cloudy dreary day but proved to be fruitful. Beat losing money at the boats like Min and Beate were doing. At least I had to pay for dinner was tasty. We will see what the new years brings. The winds of change seem to be happening and I see some new direction soon in our lives.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-7620512340613910572009-12-23T21:03:00.006-05:002009-12-24T23:14:14.767-05:00Thomas Honerlaw - R.I.P<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 245px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipONTI3rBOzyeqTbExrNO6BaaYtK5Es4454QWy_vm7CzG838DhXM8fV2AQG1oTi5XOmxa-gMJub5RA_FZ4dTdzHSYiAHActO_ub-FHlZkPwRfyZidXnq75WbekFzDxW5DPfu8Oeyf6Ygpp/s400/DSC_2053.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5418618711177912290" />A very old friend of mine died yesterday. Tom Honerlaw :ie Nate was one of the Jr DBs and a close friend back when I was younger. I was friends with his older brother Bob and helped coach Tom in basket ball when he was going to St. Johns Church. Of all the DBs he was the most gentle kind soul you could ever meet. A very nice person who would do anything in the world to help you out. I spent many a wild night out with Nate and the gang and have some fond memories of those nights. We had so much fun I can not recall all the details.

Fred as I most often called him would come to the store visiting me and we all played ball with the gang. Tom worked and saved to buy the first house of who was in the group. He was a good man who worked hard and played hard in his younger years. We kept in touch and went out on dates when he met Connie and I was seeing Mary. Tom married Connie and Mary and I never got married and split. After that I would see Nate at some of the softball games. But after I stopped playing we saw less of each other. I kept tabs on him via Harry who I saw more often.

Tom died from what seems a combination of heart attack and then car accident. I do not know much of really what has happened. That part is not important, Tom's loss is what is really is important, we will miss him. I feel very sorry for his loss to his son Kyle Honerlaw and Connie Honerlaw. You have my deepest sympathy, I know it is not easy.

Nate, take care buddy and you will be missed but not some forgotten.
A man like you is not forgotten easily. Sleep well friend.

From Kyle: "The visitation is on sunday the 27th at Vorhis and Ryan funeral home in norwood, 5501 Montgomery Rd. It is 2-5pm and the funeral will be monday the 28th at the Church of the Nativity. The mass will start at 10am."TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-76180876794651492392009-11-29T21:04:00.004-05:002009-12-18T21:08:10.354-05:00Hotel Lakeside - End of November<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 258px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjS9b3mz2TuOjLNaV2wsKbF06cpNt8qCkXVn7wLtGfFQGWvIZkoYF5X98TfmmfLa22kVG-EuJ_grVSbx-h1ja3O9GZAv2hYfpPI7biukbdPxu_U1uDXEgFDGkP-9QW7CoqteqETJkcpdluF/s400/DWC_7849C_bwc.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5409712436905032978" />It was a busy month with the trip to Lakeside Ohio for Mom's memorial service and burial. The cottage was huge and very nice. The Breeze Inn right next to the Hotel Lakeside and a short walk to the pavilion and Lake Erie swimming and fishing dock. There was a nice gathering of the family as well as friends and the service. Mom is now at rest and enjoying life again with Danny. We spent Sunday night there just the four of us in that huge house. It was nice, hearing the Lake and bells ring from the Pavilion Steeple. It is much more quiet in Lakeside Ohio in November compared to the Summer months.

Thanks giving was nice. Got to spend time with Dad and Martha's family is always enjoyable. Feel old talking to Ben and Jake who I use to see run around as 1 year old kids. Got news we maybe going on a cruise on the Oasis this summer. Now that would be very cool. The ship is huge and it would be fun to photograph.

Did something to my foot Friday night, not sure what but it sure hurt Saturday morning. Wanted to go to Rowe Woods but the cold and my foot put the trip off till afternoon. Met Ken Dunn who is one excellent photographer for a walk in Rowe Woods. Ken and I met last year at Capture Cincinnati's Book awards and book signing. My foot was still hurting but I can not recall anything that could cause it, so I went for a nice long walk showing him some of my favorite locations in Rowe Woods. It felt a little better till last night. Was very sore but I put on a cast and it feels better today. I guess I will gimp around unless it gets worse, same foot I broke a couple years back. It is hell getting old, but I prefer it to the alt.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-3936713687177142582009-11-14T08:30:00.003-05:002009-11-14T08:51:48.642-05:00Last Party<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 273px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiahyphenhyphenB6UeMcPdbQJUwDEOrB79-VwROA316MKeVcZS-_TmnW6j0mxGFFqNI_hu49Bukh2EU51r8sUcgQxOv5CniSQGXeF-c61GNKkJK4wYoBdINmAyhUwzn0Tu5YJwlXiOnt8QmG_kjjkKvU/s400/DWC_6493cc.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5403951675718801426" />We had a birthday part for my mother in law last month in the nursing home. It was like many of the other parties we have held at her bedside over the last 10 years. But unlike the other birthday or holiday parties this one would be the last party. Mom had been told she was dieing and there was really no long term solution to the illness. She chose to refuse treatments and let life take it's course. The birthday party was in September and it was her 71st birthday which would prove to be her last one. Everyone was able to gather and enjoy cake and some time to talk about days and life events. Things she liked to hear about that was going on in her families daily lives. This would be the last time I saw her before her passing, my final kiss on her forehead.

Mom passed away on October 20th 2009 around 12:30PM with hospice at her side. Min and Jim were on there way but she like many mothers did not want to pass on in front of her kids. She she checked out about 8 minutes before they were able to get to her bedside. This is very common, I know my mother chose to pass on that way as well. There is something about mothers not wanting to pass on in front of their sons. She had Hospice and other friends with her when she went peacefully. I wish I could have done to comfort Min but I was in the Hospital at the time, a unplanned visit. Just more stress on Min's plate, something I was trying to avoid. I was able to get out and home that evening to at least be with her as she grieved. She has taken her mother's passing very hard.

We will be putting her to rest near Lakeside Ohio where she grew up and has many friends. She will rest next to Danny and her parents. Lakeside has always been a special place in our families lives. It over looks Lake Erie and it is where her family's roots run deep. We have spent many summers in Lakeside but we were not able to make up this year do to a cruise and Ty heading off to O.U. I did not think we would be up there this year. Ma proved me wrong, we will spend time there over the week end. Not our normal trip to Lakeside but it will bring back memories of winter trips to Lakeside to see Mom and Danny as we did many times for Thanksgiving.

R.I.P Ma and there will be no longer need to worry about the kids, or family, just time to rest. Sleep well.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-3603838295675926532009-10-10T08:58:00.005-04:002009-10-10T20:04:29.564-04:00Nobel Joke<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 274px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgpJkNj1X_U_NDEM15qt_Bg30D1BKTAkboRLuF2B_WAPynGfjxDMAqBv27ypUXmtN5l9PxX6dhHQIcg-S6YKzeg9_flFzvSkaU1QmmSXVoj0OYz7tn9u348X7hPNNpVZpQwQUsY5xBdpA2J/s400/Obama-Socialist-Poster.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5390955215237994866" />Ghandi doesn't get one but Obama does? LOL I thought that it was ridiculous joke when I first heard it, but it turns out the joke is now the Nobel Committee and their political motivations, they just marginalized their peace prize and prior winners. Obama was nominated for a Nobel Prize 11 days after he took office, having done nothing except party. These many months later, he's still done nothing except give speeches saying 'gosh we suck as a country'. You cannot make this up. It is almost surreal in how he is changing America and how the people will live. MSM doesn't report it and people seem ambivalent. Who is going to pay the bill, it is coming do at some point?

The economy is in the tank, he's taking the deficit and debt to historic, epic, impossible to deal with levels, with nothing to show for it, while shilling for more domestic programs that will probably literally annihilate the middle class. Ah, but that will probably happen even if none of them pan out. The mounting debt is frightening. No worries, Barry gives good socialistic speeches and the god like swoon in wonderment. There is a large segment of people here who are terrible at math and who believe in unicorns. I see that there are also some of these folks in Europe. But even the Germans, French and English are turning more to the right and capitalism.

This country was built on freedom and sweat equity. We've turned into a nation of whiners and weenies. Needing government handouts instead of knowing that the answer is to work harder. The grownups are dying out and all that will be left will be people scrambling for the dole. Like siblings after the funeral of the last parent.

If you can clap for that, you probably are receiving government checks. When you take away personal responsibility, you end up with irresponsible people. Modern America.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-18376540916022332892009-09-07T20:17:00.008-04:002009-09-07T20:33:27.404-04:00Tyler's trip to OU for CollegeThe van was on loan from Frank & Cindy a kind thing for them to do. Lots of room for the move and ride in real comfort. We headed out early to get in line to unload the college dorm room furnishings and supplies.

Got to the Jeff and it was well organized and were unload and I was parked in about one hour. Forth floor all steps and my back is feeling it. The room has no A/C but seems nice for the two guys. The story showed out government Obama style in a not so good light. It was all about Drudge Report and misinformation was being spread. It told you how you could contact flag@whitehouse.gov would help to correct misinformation. It was pulled. It is kinda of scary when government wants us to send information about people and what they are talking about for the government to look it over.
Embedded video from CNN Video
She says what he said before does not count, that is not what he is saying now. Linda we all know he will do what he wants once Nancy and Harry get Rahm to put the hammer on the blue dogs to fall in line. Obama says one thing and does another. Just like in the election when he talked about working with all people and reaching across the isle. He never had done that and now has become the most divisive President in modern history.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-32039271404130698752009-07-19T16:04:00.005-04:002009-07-19T16:22:04.466-04:00Bronco II XLT<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 236px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjn6IQEFJjup7YTX-w3kCmjNXtkhLn_vOO4kxRLpVzW-_nvPQz8PtrD140hT_ZnFEZTuxZvKevTY84_oiuco-qah8Yh5O86YPXq52S20hgSy40lbKMaFGc7rDqT4fjwtLhbabiQ0DI5q6KO/s400/DWC_4955.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360265313043985954" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 305px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkKX1qZDr-2Q_dwTyrTm4ZlszIUZEsGfLOcgHWtT0jLbeEc9e6msRRf6IUpP_Gur3pADJp1FitJX2FGjHiC2KK-5DcOMINue3PyRNE7I0jHQVCQEXIzSK9L9FdXoUWk0wUherTJo8g6pps/s400/DWC_4960.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360265184081210882" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 264px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSPLxH_i32GgIaXenXSuZp7gKfLPU6VoB8atDgNEY7yKu96bAFctjk-xCInkrVpT0SpeCvGrxCjEgyKz2zP5VvWuLrBau3qRLhxTjUIO_6fwX7Ef4Y8JWIiD_dnoQuDo8TS_IEffYv9Q3j/s400/DWC_4962.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360264995743345266" />
It is kind of sad to see the old truck go. It was one of those projects you want to do but never seem to get the time to work on it. I bought the truck back in 1990 when I was in outside sales. It was a cool 4 wheeler and worked well as a family car. We took many a trip in the truck and I had 150,000 on it when Oil Express worked on it.

They put the wrong fluid in the brakes and Min lost brakes while in traffic near a parade. All the brake lines and cylinder needed replacing and Min hit someone causing damage to the right front. It needed more work and Oil Express refused to take any responsibility. One reason I only have dealerships or myself replace oil any more. The Bronco sat waiting for me to have it fixed but time passed and it started to rust. The sitting caused problems, so it was time to say good bye to the old friend. Many people wanted it for parts.

It has been busy around here of late. We are having a lot of work done to the house to repair and fix up the old home. New coat of paint, gutters and landscaping. Throwing stuff away we do not need or use and getting the garage ready. All this and a cool trip to the Caribbean on a huge cruise ship. Spent some time in Old San Juan before boarding the Adventure of the Seas. It was a great cruise with good weather, service and rooms. Next post I will add some pictures. Time is short of late with work and getting stuff done that I have needed to do for some time.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-46230021088919814722009-06-16T15:25:00.001-04:002009-07-03T11:25:04.982-04:00Obamanomics<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 307px; height: 281px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGHkJTXIQl2RHWQUckSxJd71JyF1nxYkAyy4yFAyPDEgNndN4cGkTRJaBZgb4WPbvaIyZWJQOnJ7Ul_FxSBnVI15AoGc_YvJ9FDLvH_AbnYMaYvtKXW-2MmvrtIIdATvfHt4yhNyiJxGyE/s400/obama-smoking.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5348008879880157570" />It is the month of August, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

It is raining, and the little town looks totally deserted.
It is tough times, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit.
Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town.
He enters the only hotel, lays a 100 Euro note on the reception counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one.
The hotel proprietor takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the butcher.
The Butcher takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the pig grower.
The pig grower takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his feed and fuel.
The supplier of feed and fuel takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the town's prostitute that in these hard times, gave her "services" on credit.
The hooker runs to the hotel, and pays off her debt with the 100 Euro note to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when she brought her clients there.
The hotel proprietor then lays the 100 Euro note back on the counter so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything.
At that moment, the rich tourist comes down after inspecting the rooms, and takes his 100 Euro note, after saying that he did not like any of the rooms, and leaves town.
No one earned anything. One thing is Ty has not always been a big fan of Dad taking pictures of him. Also I was feeling a little introspective that evening since it all started to hit me that my oldest son was graduation from Clermont Northeastern High School. It does not seem it was just 18 years ago he was just a little boy running around the house. The whole moment hit me as I watched them walk in and gather for the diplomas. Should have gone down and taken some pictures closer to the hand out of awards but felt kind of drained.

Ty will be heading off to college in September to OU and will work on being a creative writer. He is one now, but this will open up new ideas and doors to his works. It is a great University, Harvard on the Ohio it is often called. It will be close enough we can visit but far enough where he can learn some independence and more personal responsibility growth. I guess this is where we find out how well we did over the last 19 years. Min and I are both very proud of Ty he worked hard in school and graduated with honors and the top ten of his class. I will miss having him here at home more than he really knows.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-70734515579626305262009-05-20T21:32:00.008-04:002009-05-20T21:40:25.858-04:00Concert at the Lake<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 250px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-o05sgSLR5tjOPIKgM-Hf1qnrvzeUhvGPI_5_EbHVRP-XAdcJO1phB7Tjpeen7zAGxTXuQ0T9No4tZagiUaEoCj9Gb_TAB77V0Sew-C3VVZCT5JaCToXRdRrmn_gTUvd-wItiDt98_3XA/s400/DWC_2678.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338085007249039090" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8TD5So1NpnF7SM3oQsVAyG_Xk-T9tJXmSPrrFwYwP5l5l5gPVawPEjf7Uxa4ct2IUAklDFbNN1eTyh7iOqtqGAg8_5hLdi68xtqL2gTUINBe8FhHPzjCLe6B7aFStkCVsDzpYfTtiTiii/s400/DWC_2669.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338084844787279602" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 270px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFv4NuWbKzShQs15Cvhwtb-YXSPha2jF5VajIliG0AKzPbZy67IY6OTKMDrvmb8GYNXRyPYi6EBG1kqGhodkDIeKXHF0uhuhJQyjyiV5WG_cFVL2dffeQBOuNgiaPbOOX9w1HLN4ebeZtn/s400/DWC_2674.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338084698991980338" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYskGoMgKow4HOPnd1kylmq3kFp2P7H0K63xsyFrc5Z9XMggLYaeib8GoZa8wexbJug7tp_h9zQ-KBj52bD3s816CrD_zJ6_b5ed3RYmST4W7GlknIzbC6TqBgJAl-ZAVTD1IcL2wNT2bI/s400/DWC_2693.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338084507299854658" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 334px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixg8Qt_y-KrdBcTZNt_Yt7mKIHpbow37H6Rj-4TbBlpGsfKHX2dNA9Wk_mhlI3actM6FHApLyiKuH-o2ahtDtdkgRrOskwaMvlnNEgkUk64xxn8YtDJNWaiXqo2xaGGDAOPz1ISZY8vOPq/s400/DWC_2684.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338084319648179666" />
This years Concert at the Lake had good weather for a change. Director Mr. Chris Moore handled the concert and marching Clermont Northeastern Rockets. There was a nice crowd and it was the last concert for the class of 2009. A large part of the band is graduating. Chris Moore has been more than a teacher to the kids, he has been a friend. I know the kids and parents very much appreciate what he has done for the school band and music program and Clermont Northeastern High School.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-8131005179273671872009-05-13T08:38:00.003-04:002009-05-14T21:36:45.120-04:00Change We Can Believe In<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 268px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRUbxWczzUTDIN1t6o-Nox3UZcH2tgTxBu7LkJKKK46F6ltG9zK1-tcGecBFquGA2bcR9kat1WTrrIhdBS4IvVy4ojUmXmW1f-UggSdbWji4me7QMtB8xCXGGUpP_JSUpmmFETE7qoeUQ3/s400/DWC_1833_bw.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335858621852615410" />
Barack Obama, through his spokesman, claimed today that he was unaware of the tax day tea parties.
Granted, the MSM has done a good job in suppressing any sort of coverage ahead of time (and the little coverage they did provide was derisive at best)…
but how out of touch is the Community Organizer in Chief, really?

This much.
- He was unaware that he was attending a church (for 20 years) with a racist pastor who hates America .
- He was unaware that he was family friends with, and started his political career in the living room of, a domestic terrorist.
- He was unaware that he had invested in two speculative companies backed by some of his top donors right after taking office in 2005.
- He was unaware that his own aunt was living in the US illegally.
- He was unaware of the AIG bonuses that he and his administration approved and signed into a bill.
- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of Commerce was under investigation in a bribery scandal.
- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of Health and Human Services was a tax cheat.
- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be his Secretary of the Treasury was a tax cheat.
- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be the U.S. Trade Representative was a tax cheat.
- He was unaware that the woman he nominated to be his Chief Performance Officer was a tax cheat.
- He was unaware that the man he nominated to be #2 at the Environmental Protection Agency was under investigation for mismanaging $25 million in EPA grants.

________________________________________________________________________________

How many times can Prez (Tweety Bird) O say it? My administration is committed to renewing and sustaining a broader partnership between the United States and the hemisphere on behalf of our common prosperity and our common security."
-- President Obama, in an op-Ed that appeared in U.S. And Latin American newspapers prior to the Summit of the Americas

April 6: "I know there have been difficulties these last few years. I know that the trust that binds us has been strained, and I know that strain is shared in many places where the Muslim faith is practiced. Let me say this as clearly as I can: the United States is not at war with Islam."(Maybe not, but it turns out that about 99.99% of radical terrorists just happen to be Islamists, so what the hell are you saying?)
-- President Obama, in Ankara, Turkey

And don't you just L-O-V-E this one? Leader of whom and what? For all my life plus some, the US has been either kicking Europes' ass or saving for nearly 100 years now.

April 3: "In America, there's a failure to appreciate Europe's leading role in the world. (Please pardon me while I barf). Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive. But in Europe, there is an anti-Americanism that is at once casual but can also be insidious. Instead of recognizing the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans choose to blame America for much of what's bad. On both sides of the Atlantic, these attitudes have become all too common. They are not wise. ... They threaten to widen the divide across the Atlantic and leave us both more isolated." (Why don't the Europeans see a danger and act on it when recognized, not sit back and let the good ole USA handle it for them?)
-- President Obama, in Strasbourg, France

April 2: "It is true, as my Italian friend has said, that the (economic) crisis began in the U.S. I take responsibility, even if I wasn't even president at the time."(No, but your Democrat predessor Billy Clinton started it so don't even mention President Bush as he tried in vain to end it!)
-- President Obama, at the G20 in London, as reported by Germany's Der Spiegel

April 2: "I would like to think that with my election and the early decisions that we've made, that you're starting to see some restoration of America's standing in the world." (Way too early to comment. Right now it's not looking too good.)
-- President Obama, at G20 summit in London

April 1: "If you look at the sources of this crisis, the United States certainly has some accounting to do with respect to a regulatory system that was inadequate." (Again, return to the idiotic lending practices of Clinton)
-- President Obama, at a press conference ahead of the G20 in London

March 25: "I feel very strongly we have a co-responsibility (for drug-fueled violence in Mexico). ... Our insatiable demand for illegal drugs fuels the drug trade. (Is only America drug dependent?) Our inability to prevent weapons from being illegally smuggled across the border to arm these criminals causes the deaths of police officers, soldiers and civilians." (News Flash! Criminals will buy guns from anywhere they can. We just happen to be close to Mexico. How you gonna stop guns from going over the border when you can't even stop illegals?)
-- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, en route to Mexico City

Jan. 26: "All too often the United States starts by dictating ... And we don't always know all the factors that are involved. So let's listen. And I think if we do that, then there's a possibility at least of achieving some breakthroughs. ... My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy. We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect." (Is this a unilateral confession, or could there possibly be a tad bit of culpability on the part of the Arab world?)
-- President Obama, in an interview with Al Arabiya

Change we can believe in?TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-46825203925900188782009-05-08T11:14:00.005-04:002009-05-14T21:23:01.458-04:00Allan Keyes
There is not much else to be said. The president does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.

The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red .
If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-59115674423484738272009-04-24T20:20:00.015-04:002009-05-07T21:43:16.814-04:00Pink Elephant in the Room
Social Security, The Great American Ponzi Scheme .
Our Social Security.
Franklin Delano. Roosevelt 32nd. President, Democrat Terms of Office March 4, 1933, to April 12, 1945

Both my parents told me a very long time ago much of what is stated here has basis in fact. The question is not what is in the law. The question is how did FDR promote the vast new program. A program like no other in our country's history. My Mom told me she liked him at the time. But over time the changes were not what she had hoped for or had expected. My mom told me this over 30 plus years ago during a discussions on politics, very common in our home while growing up. Sound familiar.

The below statement is said to be fake and not factual in terms of law, not sure about the sell part. People were in crisis and I think that fed the desire for a turn toward socialism.
Our Social Security Franklin Delano. Roosevelt (Terms of Office March 4, 1933, to April 12, 1945)a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised the American people when he first explained the idea and to sell it to the people:

1.)That participation in the program would be voluntary. Not what was passed into law.
2.)That the participants would only have to pay 1% of their annual incomes into the program,
3.)That the money the participants elected to put into the program maybe deductible from their income for tax purposes each year. Not what was passed into law.
4.)That the money the participants put into the Independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program. Not what was passed into law.
5.)That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to 'Put Away' -- you may be interested in the following: Not what was passed into law.

What he promised is not what congress passed. The Fed has a so called fact sheet website page debunking what legislation that was sold to the people, just mentions what was passed and now law. The point is not what was passed by congress, the point is what was sold to the people by the leader of the country. One sentence says no one would get social security unless they paid into it, we know this not to be true. ADC is one program funded as well as welfare out of the SSI fund. Call it what you will a Rose is a Rose by any other name.

Lyndon Baines Johnson 36th.President, Democrat Term Of Office: November 22, 1963 to January 20, 1969 Question: Which Political Party took Social Security from the Independent 'Trust Fund' and put it into the General Fund so that Congress could spend it? Answer: It was Lyndon B. Johnson (Democrat, Term Of Office: November 22, 1963 to January 20, 1969) and the democratically Controlled House and Senate.

The Great Society needed funding and all that money was just sitting there. Government websites will tell you it is not part of the general fund. True, they just borrow the money and in exchange give government securities in exchange. They are taking money out of the right pocket and putting into the left pocket. We are borrowing from ourselves, someone has to pay it, who?

William Jefferson Clinton (Bill Clinton) 42nd. President Democrat Term of Office: January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001 Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.(Al Gore)45th. Vice President Democrat Term of Office: January 20,1993 to January 20, 2001 changed the tax rules on SS.

Question: Which Political Party increased taxing Social Security annuities? Answer: The Democratic Party, with Albert Arnold Gore, Jr. (Al Gore) [Vice President Term of
Office: January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001] casting the `tie-breaking' deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US. The vote increased the tax from 50% to 85%

James Earl Carter, Jr (Jimmy Carter) 39th. President, Democrat Term of Office: January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981 Question: Which Political Party decided to start giving money generated from Annuity payments to illegal immigrants?

Answer: That's right! James Earl Carter, Jr. (Jimmy Carter) (Democrat, Term of Office: January 20, 1977 to January 20, 1981) and the Democratic Party. Began helping illegal Immigrants who moved into this country, they can began to receive government payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never were to benefit from this fund. But they call it something else, but the money comes from the SSI funds. The money just does not come out of thin air. The government website says this is not true, but if you read between the lines it is not SS per say it is other programs funded by money placed in the FICA fund.

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! Truth be told even Republicans have spent like Democrats in the first part of this century, around 2000. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme it will crash at some point. Just do the math, immigration, age of population, support group smaller than expected. The house of cards collapses. Either the service are drastically cut or people forced to pay higher taxes to support it. Based on our current congress and President plan on taxes. Both parties are guilty of plundering our retirement.

They have run out of our money, 40 years of spending by both parties. This has not happened over night. Obama and congress want to accelerate it in 5 year going out past 10. Who is going to pay the bill? It was bad enough when George Bush was spending us deeper in debt. Like Rx drugs, not much different than Obama. The problem is we do not have the money. We will go deep into negative equity, then the waiter brings the bill at some point. It has to be paid for some how, please explain how?

The founding fathers are rolling in their graves. This is not what they in visioned how the country's government was to work. We need to get back to the basic frame work of the Constitution. We have wander to far out of what was a perfect balance of power with all the checks and balances. It has become corrupt and needs to be adjusted back to the basics. Less government, states rights, country's defense The unproductive government needs to be reduced and private sector needs to absorb the needs of some people who really need help. We did it some how before the New Deal. It comes down to the Physiological Difference do you want people doing for themselves. Or do you want to pay the government to do that for you?TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-18739791812682403532009-04-20T21:30:00.005-04:002009-04-21T08:55:28.733-04:00Life Changes - Fluffytek<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 380px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK97HoOsx7IrIE-y2xroag1AwbeQcjAsJ3UnEVQXot97z6Pretzu-XgyDeCdzj4MowD9HHikAP4JiZdubKHlN00aG-YNvCdcMXZtO8XhEQL2GvndbYwpsjFeaxoNpE49iRer5fsZIjFo3E/s400/max_wm.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5326951105346786946" />
Every now and then you get to meet some very nice people on the Internet. That happen Summer last year when I became friends with Lin and Rich of Fluffytek. At the time I was having problems with a site administrator who was looking for a fall guy. The person messed up and provided personal information attacking the wrong person. Lin and Rich both have dealt with the problem person before. At a time I needed some moral support they were there for help. I will always appreciate them for that genuine help. Lin and Rich are what I call good people, you feel they are being honest in the friendship.

When I had time to look through blogs and I always go to Fluffytek first, you see a link on your right to the blog. I was sadden in one way but happy in another when I read Lin's update on life in their world. I know the photography blog was becoming time consuming and tough enough when healthy. But sick and fighting health issues and putting it together takes time and effort. Rich is wise in helping to correct direction back on course to fun. I will miss seeing his photography of Lin and the other models. The poses, light and creative works of photography art have been a inspiration. I have no doubt he will do as well in the new medium.

One less burden for Lin, a well needed rest and I am sure will return from time to time to keep in touch with the blog who are also friends. Lin is not only a beautiful woman on the out side, she is rare that it is also inside of her as well. As mention Lin is good people and has a loving devoted hubby and wonderful kids. I hope that remains the focus. It is how things in life happen, and how we absorb and deal with them that makes life. I hope it turns out the best for both of them.TyMaxhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03794211478161515773noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6421737257499379358.post-65315217560088858062009-04-19T20:32:00.023-04:002009-04-20T16:13:49.708-04:00Cincinnati T.E.A. Party - April 15th 2009On April 15th 2009 there were hundreds of grass roots tax protest rallies across the country. They were called Tea Party gatherings. I know how the one here in Cincinnati Started and how it became a Facebook and other Internet connection groups spreading he word. The local radio programs picked up on some of it and word began to spread, that was Feb-March 2009. The rally in March drew 5000 people on a Sunday afternoon rally. By that time other cities were having gatherings and the April 15th tax day was planned as a solidarity movement. Not sure when, July 4th might be a good day. It seems to be coming from the anger in response to how the main stream media is call people of the movement. The bias reporting like CNN Susan Roesgen and her lame attempt to make members look radical or fringe. They do not know or want to report on what the basic ideas are, less government, less spending, return to a constitutional form of government. It goes for both parties. They have both been guilty of this for 40+ years. Obama Nancy and Harry have just taken it to insane levels.
