Nose knows, dogs see things that way. They scope out rooms and areas with the nose more than the eye. Pays to watch discovery channel for trivia. Mo always knew when Min was cooking her specialty, special shells, his favorite plate to lick. Mo was a good dog and we miss him. We buried him in the back yard. The last warm weather day of that winter. A gut wrenching emotional experience for the family. The kids came home from school to find he had pass away. He died January 8th 2006,

  1. My heart goes out to you and the family for your loss.

  2. I still miss Casper too, every day. I think it will be a long time before we get another dog. As a family, we're just not ready yet. The wound is still too open.

How long does it take to get over this, I wonder?

  3. It took us a few months and we got Custer, then about 6 months later rescued a smaller dog. The fill some of the hole lost friends leave behind. It tends to hit me hardest.

But they all take a little piece of my heart. Price you pay for the love they give in return.
